At NICE YARNS, our mission is to fight climate change by planting trees together with our official climate partner GROW MY TREE! We believe that companies are key players in the fight against climate change and can make a major contribution to a more sustainable future. That’s why we want to take responsibility and reduce our CO2 emissions together with GROW MY TREE. Our aim is to create environmental awareness and invest together to save our planet.
Our partner GROW MY TREE works with local operators in countries of the Global South to plant trees where the ecological, social and economic leverage is greatest – and all plantings are fair, sustainable and certified.
Each tree can absorb ~ 22 kg of CO2 per year. We want to motivate our customers to minimize their CO2 emissions in everyday life and neutralize the remaining CO2 emissions by planting trees. At GMT, people and companies can easily plant or donate trees or an entire forest with just a few clicks. If each person planted around 440 trees, their average annual CO2 emissions would be almost completely offset by the trees’ ability to absorb CO2*.
